If I put a test pipe on, I would keep the stock cat. Just in case I need it for inspection if I ever move somewhere that requires one. The 15 minutes it's on, it wouldn't hurt.

The X runs pig rich from the factory anyway. As low as 9.5:1 at full boost in some cases. Crazy. Thus I'm not too concerned with leaning it out at all. That will probably help.

 

10-15 hp is a big difference, but I wouldn't imagine a "tuning" difference, no.

Hey BJ or anyone else that may know for that matter, what time can you run at Darlington before they kick you off the track for no safety equipment? Anybody know? I could be wrong, it's been a long time and I have kids so my memory may be a little fuzzy here, but Dave didn't they say something to you when you ran your low 12?

 

I ran a 12.3 last year and they didn't say anything...not till this year did they start enforcing that you wear a helmet if you run below a 13.0 haha...which didn't really matter for me because i always ran below 13.0s and always wore my helmet...i think they may have gotten a little more strict on the rules...i heard something a little while ago about running 11.50s or faster they might give you some sh*t...but not really sure...i guess you will have to find out for us Lecon...

Oh ok! I always wondered if you were on the boards. Funny you mention that day 'cause I was just looking at that same driveshaft on DevoTuning's website. Yeah as far as the car, all of those issues are now a thing of the past. Now I just need to get it to the track and see if I can keep up with David Lowe there as well.

as far as the kids...i know they will always find us. however if we just have a local meeting area then it shouldnt be that bad. the cops get on us when kids come out there blaring music, burn outs and reving engines. we dont do that so i think it would be easy to find a spot to hang out. it can be a sports bar for all i care.
