Oh ok! I always wondered if you were on the boards. Funny you mention that day 'cause I was just looking at that same driveshaft on DevoTuning's website. Yeah as far as the car, all of those issues are now a thing of the past. Now I just need to get it to the track and see if I can keep up with David Lowe there as well.Yeah, the corn likker makes it pretty quick on the street. But Dave's got the timeslip for his, mine doesn't yet. I want to see if 408/430 will get me 10s. Dennis seems to think it will. Now is that with me driving, I haven't a clue.
Another thing I looked at was the driveshaft definitely helped DL with the acceleration and staying in boost. In the video with my clutch slipping, he definitely got me on the jump, but I caught him and pulled him. There's alot of factors to consider though.

Driveshaft?? What driveshaft do you have on your car? Aluminum one like AWD Motorsports is selling?

Yeah, DL's got the DevoTuning one, I believe it's chromoly or something but it's a two piece vs. the stock three piece. It does make a difference with the spool up, decel between shifts, as I saw/felt in riding in his car after it was installed. I was thinking about going with one and was reading up on the differences, DevoTuning's vs. AWD's. One big selling point is that DevoTuning's is almost $200 cheaper.

i love to hang out with you guys, but 0900 is a little early...unless we are going to be doing breakfast i would think 2100 or maybe something earlier if youre concerned with getting your beauty sleep.

Maybe they meant 9 at night too lol....I'd probably ride down myself for this inaugural meeting, but I'm definitely not leaving here at 7 am for a meet! Might run into some joker on 26 swerving all over the road, call the cops, and then they'll pull me!

i know right. if we are having out of town visitors would anyone have a problem with making it a littler earlier?
I don't know if that's necessary. I'd probably head out that afternoon to get down there anyway. And I'd be in contact with you or the other David....that's just me though.
