I've got my track tires now. They need to be mounted. And oh yeah, I need my car to run! Can't wait to get back autocrossing again...

I ran horrible. .414 reaction, where as i usually have .00* lights. 60 foot was was a 2.25, that has been in that area since the start (2 psi on 2step, i need 10 or so)

final was a 9.0 in the 1/8. the extra weight was add by the speakers i put in, and i put the truck carpet with spare in it. plus the tons of tools i always carry. VR4 days were a hard lesson learned I always carry enough to fix most all issues.

Something is definitely wrong. How did you initiate your 2-step? How long do you mash the pedal at the tree?

well, i have had suspected an issue with it for some time. I do not used 2 step often. I am having someone else do the tuning and I am unsure how it is set up. I believe it isnt yet due to still in the middle of tuning.

I go 100% right after the 1st light most of the time. I tested the 2 step before several tims, but it would only build 2-3 psi.

Try gradually giving it gas to work up to the 2-step but do not let it rev too long. The 2-step has been known to induce knock when the gas pedal is mashed too fast and/or too long.

sabastian458>> He is looking for something like a salvage or somewhere around stock I think maybe slightly modded. He is going to basically just do the weekend thing with it, build it, track it, slay people, LOL. He was looking for something cheap though, if you know of anything PM me or him, whichever.....He just wanted to "grow up" a little, sold his car to me and decided it's not quite time yet and gets pissed whenever he's with me, LOL. Second time he's sold an Evo just to come back to get another, I think he just likes building them up and selling them, haha. So yeah, he's looking for another one already.

For anyone who has dealt with GSC Motorsports in Charleston:

What services do they offer? Are they sales only or do they do tuning / installation?

Unfortunately, they aren't offering any installation/tuning services anymore. I just talked to Greg face to face two weekends ago. Their new "shop" if you want to call it that is little more than a suite in an office complex now. They do have an area in the back to tinker on cars, but that I think is mainly for their shop cars, etc.

Showzone does installs/tuning. I went there for the first time as well and Collin seems to have a very good shop. You may want to pm Coheterojo (David) as he's been there several times for installs. He hasn't been tuned by Collin, but in talking with him and stuff he seems like he's got it figured out pretty good. I'd give them a call.
