Just waiting for the block to be finished from the machine shop. I am really excited for this because I am going to 9.5 compression, so it should be a ton of fun for a daily driver. I am swapping cams to a set of S2's, and am almost done doing a full port job on my head. Also, the head will be getting a set of springs and retainers, so I should be able to have to 9000rpm fun...

I am anxious because I am borrowing a friends car until his woman returns from the sandbox overseas in the beginning of September. So, with all the crap on my list of things to do while the car is in eleventy billion pieces, I am hoping to get it all done in a month. Car has already been down for close to two months. Argh.

 

Sounds interesting Tom. You going big boy turbo or stock appearing?

A little OT, FP is now accepting EVO 9 turbos to convert to the RED for $1099. Hmmmm......

True. Nothing wrong with that. The IX turbo is turning out to be a great one when properly set-up and tuned. Keep us updated on the progress!
