Roll Call For Sc Evos
Lol! You guys are funny. 12.4 is hopeful thinking there DD. Truth be told, you should have been in the 11s too with your past setup, probably would have if for not upsetting that valve or whatever that night at Darlington.
DL, I'm sure you can get into the 11s rather easily. In the eighth you were only a couple tenths behind Dennis. It would have been nice for Dennis to duplicate his eighth time this past weekend.

Dave when do you want to meet up so i can get my camera? Lecon any luck in finding a way to convert the vid? if not, i can meet up with you with my thumb drive and if you put it on there i'll see what i can do with it.
Woah, UPS made a delivery yesterday! Woot Woot!
Basturds shipped my engine block in Shrink Wrap.
Ummmm, Only Shrink Wrap. WTF UPS!?!?!
But, they must have been gentle with it because there is only one area that
has a few small dings in it, and thankfully, it will be cleaned up by the machining.
And, the block only had 4885 miles on it, and it's obvious looking at the cross
hatching inside the cylinder walls. But, it will take some serious cleaning this
weekend and I am going to send it out to the machine shop again. Argh.
So, it looks as though about a month left and Evo will be a high compression
little E85 RoKeT again. Schweet.
BTW, the headstud hole, the factory OEM headbolt snapped off in it when pulling
it out to replace with ARP's.

No luck yet. I downloaded a couple things to try and convert the vob files but it didn't work. I even tried to changed the file name to convert it but it wouldn't change the tag. I'm not sure if Vista has something to do with it or not.
Man Lecon we got to get those videos up! Nobody knows how close OKIX came to finishing third instead of first!
David, I'll be happy to meet w you sometime this weekend to return your camera. Thanks for letting us use it. Lecon has the only evidence of the semi-final round in which Dennis left OKIX behind at the light. He didn't catch up until near the end of the track. The crowd was on its feet. It looked like Dennis had him but then that nasty trap speed won out up top.

I'm trying to find a free converter, but it looks like a no go. I guess I'll have to fork over the money and purchase one. Maybe by the end of the weekend, I should have something up on Youtube.
Lecon, what do you mean you were having clutch problems?? Is that twin clutch not holding up to that added power?? I can't imagine but it sounds like thats what you are saying...
My X is headed this way (San Diego), I will probably take it up to RRE to get a tune, I am hoping for around 330whp or so, hoping!
Hey Lecon PM me your damn number again, I have like 4 different Lecon numbers in my phone, not sure which is which.
EDIT: P.S. Did you guys know I picked up a GTR??

Sen! What's up bro? You still in Charleston or in San Diego? Anyway, from what Dan Buschur said the clutch pressure plate came unbolted! It was not disengaging properly and it wouldn't go into gear. Was it the extra torque? It may have contributed but I think it was coming out before hand. The problem became more magnified I think when I went from 382 lb/ft of tq to 430.
Dan got it back to together and saved the discs. Probably because it happened when we were on the way to the shop that Saturday so I didn't have enough time to mess it up more. And I'll probably be heading up there this weekend to pick it up.
What's this about a GTR????
If so, you'd better schedule me a drive/ride before you leave.

Thats wild, I can't imagine why that is. Anyways, I will be in San Diego indefinitely, but will be making a trip back there ever so often to visit Jen ad to pick up the GTR in November.
Yeah that's what I said too. We did it right. Why it did what it did, who knows? Still, everything else looked good and let's hope it was just a freak occurence. Hopefully I can get it back this weekend...
