I usually take the family to Charleston/ Mt Pleasant once every few months.

 

I keep seeing a PB X here in Myrtle Beach. It drives by my office almost everyday. It sounds awesome. I really wish I knew who it is so I could find out what mods he has.

Hey guys! Did everyone make it back ok from the SO?

 

Oh ya. Left after the award ceremonies. Dropped Lecon & Dereck off in Columbia around 3 a.m. Got home around 5 something. Seems like the SC contingent did pretty well at the Shootout. Dennis drove my RS to a best et of 11.3 and got 3rd place in Evo Stock Appearing with an 11.4 at 121. Chris came home with 3rd in Evo Eliminator. Not too shabby.

 

I want to congratulate Robin (Mzderrick04) for her 3rd place finish at the Shootout. According to David Buschur only the 2nd lady to ever place at the event if I heard him right. I've got ya on vid lady too! Also, my ace David Lowe (Coheterojo) and Dennis Davis, (I'm not sure if Dennis is on here) with their 3rd place finish in ESA. I felt like I was doing something at least trying to get a good log of one of the pulls in the staging lanes. And we never did get the laptop logging anything! Anyway, onto the pics!

Yep, that's my joint in the foreground there...clutch problems prevented me from enjoying this weekend's festivities on the street/track. I guess an added 80 lb/ft of tq would do that.

BVP's X was probably one of the most impressive car's to me. It sounded incredible. We pulled into the track next to it and it just grumbled! It was straight nasty! 11 secs in the quarter put any questions about the X to bed.

Sweet pictures there Lecon. I guess it's just as well your car wasn't running because poor Dennis would have had to drive against himself somehow or other! I imagine your moonshine fueled beastie would be pulling high 10's to low 11's in the 1/4. We shall see!

I think 10's are there for me as well if I only slap a Red on there or buy drag radials or get an E-85 tune or.....

 

When we set something up at one of these 1/4s around here, you can use my tires. I'd like to try it on streets but those heavy 18s may hold me back. That one pull though didn't feel too slow though...

Dave D., no, you can't! I'm going to try and upload the vids to youtube tonight.

David L., you can hit 10s on what you have now. I believe if you had my tires on Dennis may have cut a 1.5 something and would have had the 10s. I don't think you need a turbo upgrade. I don't think I would either, just need a great driver. We'll find out soon though.

 

I'm just curious, are you part of the 11 sec club bc someone else drove your car? if so i'll race you and if i beat you with my 12.5 then what?

 

Don't you think that if Dennis can pull an 11.3 that I can't pull at least an 11.99999?
