Ladies & Gentlemen
We all know that the bottom end would not last on the street or track with that AWHP on a stock bottom end. This is just a mere test to see how strong the bottom end of the EVO is. We are not advertising this kit at 610 on a stock bottom end to customers because of all the facts we already know being EVO enthusiast. This was a simple post to people that where calling us to ask to post info when we have begun testing on the kit. We where all interested in finding out how much the block would hold and our limits where 600 to the wheels. This car does not run 600 on the street however, we have turned down the boost for street use because we know where the problem would be if we ran that type of power on the street. Our intentions are to go with pistons, rods and bolts to make this a livable engine for the track and for street.
Also for the Boost Freak; the 03 evo’s came with 8:8:1 which you are correct on, and the later models came with 9:1 compression like the 05 we are running.

After we upgrade a few things on the car. Such as rod bolts need to be stronger and maybe the tranny as well. We will post when we are headed that direction...
There must be a reason you guys are only revving to 6.5k?? That seems rediculous with such a large turbo.
Especially with such high duration cams that are designed for hi-rpms, and just seeing the way it spools and the torque curve there is no doubt it would make more power up top?
