Charleston EVO'S!!!!!!

I need HELP!!

I just had some Cams, MBC, BOV, LICP ect...... installed at GSC. on my way home my car died. I thought it was loose IC piping but it wasnt..... it turned out that my intake heat shield cut through some wires, all that is fixed now but the car still wont start so were thinking now that it may have fried my ECU. does ANYONE have a ECU that i could swap out in my car for 2 sec. to trouble shoot at GSC tomorrow morning-ish??

I could meet you there and do the swap. It would only take 2 min of your time. i just need to know if my ECU is the problem or not.

Give me a call if you can help

What intake heat shield do you talk of that chaffed into the wires? Is it an OEM part, aftermarket, or DIY?

It was the typhoon one that came with the car when i bought it. It pinned the wires against battery, and aparently carbon fiber is a conductor and it grounded the wires and may have rosted the ECU. i would have switched intakes but i no problems with it.

Just a bad stream of luck im having i guess.

Any recent news?

If the ecu is good and you need someone to check the wiring I have a meter and contrary to the popular belief Elen can troubleshoot wiring.

sounds like a common theme for our evos recently (nothing to do with GSC). I think i just blew my head gasket, 8thwonder's clutch just went out.
