I decided to go with an ACT street clutch and I don't want to spend 1300$ to have the dealer do it....all the independent shops in the area have never worked on an evo and quote me somewhere between 600-700$..any ideas on where I can go get the install a reputable shop that has experience with EVO'S?

dealer just quote me 1800$ plus parts/ tax if I go with the ACT clutch and flywheel...and they wouldn't guarantee the work!!!wtf..! anyway..still looking for a local shop if no one knows heading to titan motorsports in Orlando...

My friend Evan has a shop in Tampa, his website is evolved parts (do a google search). Thus far he has installed 2 Exedy twin plate HDs with happy customers I believe for less than 700 bux. Give him a call at 813 477 5808

Go to Cottman transmissions on Tampa rd in Oldsmar. They are giving good prices to do installs on evo's and eclipses. They were quoting around 400 and 500 depending on fwd or awd on the eclipses, and about 500 to 600 on evo's. I believe their price also included flywheel resurfacing. Let them know Anthony sent you.

They also guarantee their work.

goto s&r performance....they just recently done tune days from turbo trix and jester tuning....ask for bobby and tell them carlos from team ssp sent you

TTP has the most experience with this in the area that I know of.

im not going to post everything they do.....just read some of the posting for the turbo trix tune and the jester tune and look at the comments about the shop...every one is very impressed with the shop.....

Bump for TTP bought my clutch from them good pricing, Evo owner and has done allot of installs.....bring it to someone who has an evo and is dedicated to the car!
