Hi i just put one on my car and I noticed the sound of the turbo is quiter than with the stock air filter, Is this normal and what was the max boost presure not in pounds but in the other measure. Also i did a search here on this filter couldnt find the estimated hp it adds, 2 or 3hp?

 

i thought k&n makes louder. I saw it in magazine that it adds like 5hp. I think it was turbo magazine but not sure.

 

I have a K&N Filter, I have seen on the dyno it actually has given an extra 10 hp. That evo had full turbo back exaust on it. Also, Millabars for 1 bar its 14.5 psi, I am running 1.6bars its around 22 psi give or take. I also have an after market BOV RS and actually sounds louder for both turbo spool and BOV. Do you still have factory BOV?

 

yep i still have factory bov I really think the turbo is sounding a bit quieter but it is reaching around 1.3 millibars guess that is what is supposed to, im waiting for my hks tbe to get here and going to a dyno in 4 weeks, wow if the kn can give up to 10hp that was preetty cheap horsepower

 

1.59 bar is 23 psi
