If he left it on 3rd, that neon will have a real problem going beyond 60 mph.


For saturday, I don't know if you guys want to do this. I'll be visiting a friend in St. Pete and do some troubleshooting on his and my car around noon.

I did go through the gears..

1st - I ran to about 5700
2nd - I ran to about 6150 - 6200
3rd - I ran 5600 - 5700
4th - Just ran up around 5000 as the 1/4 ended..

BTW those are not official times although it's pretty accurate. I tested out the times with a G-Tech controller. I was out around the Bruce B Downs area when testing.

BTW with the 2nd gear redline adrenaline was kicking in and I somewhat lost track of what I was doing.. Moreless just focusing on the street.

That was also just with the K&N filter and spark plug wires.

I'm wanting to head out to the track I believe late December and get some official times since I have my 2 1/4" custom catback exhaust, K&N filter, plug wires.. then I should have the car dropped for a little more aerodynamic deal going.

Wow, you have G-tech. I gotta take a look at it. On the downside, they do sometimes give you favorable times.
