Frank, I gotta meet up w/ you for a test. I've tested the RA strut bar on Carlos' OZ, and it didn't fit. Since the ES model should be close to the mirage chassis, I need to confirm its fitment issue.

 

yes im upset i can not get the strut bar....frank it is all yours if it fits....sorry oz guys it wont fit

 

well im pissed. i couldnt find the damn dog track. i drove up and down dale mabry for like 2.5 hours and finally i just pulled over to a walgreens b/c i saw a lancer in the parking lot. it was some guy at work, but he told me about how the meets always get broken up and stuff. we need to have a meet in an easier place to find. SOMEPLACE WITH AN ADDRESS. no address, no mapquest.

 

Sorry to hear that . . . our meet tends to get rain out. Everyone of our meet rained on us, except once.

I really like Sunday, a lazy, hangout type of day. Saturday. People tend to be busy w/ life.

Oh, also, a bit of an update. I have taken my car to mitsubishi and have spoken to the techs in reference to our vehicle. I have also found alot of interesting information. However, the update on my vehicle is mild. I diagnosed the probelem correctly. It was my coil pack that was misfiring and it was replaced under warranty. WE FOUND A NEW PROBLEM! My header has pin holes in it and is depressurizing. Not a good thing. So, I am getting a new header this week.

Anyone know of a good powder coating place or hightemp place? I want to get it painted black.

After I get it coated, I will be upgrading the suspension and add lsd. After we are satisfied with grip, I will be piecing together the turbo for this summer. I'm going to need some serious help soon. Carlos I'll be calling you ! heheh But as for the meet, I'm down.

 

How about the abandoned Circuit City (as always) on Sunday around 1 PM? If it rains, we have shelter, and it's between some guys in N. TB and Brandon folks. Of course, Sarasota will be a long drive. It's not as long as Cory driving from Vero to meet us in TB.

I don't know if I'll have a new used car at the meet, but nevertheless it will be the battle wagon.

I know a guy in PA who can powder coat stuff. For us mirage guys, he has powered coated a couple valve covers and for an eclipse.

LSD. Are you sure you want to crack open the tranny? It can be quite expensive ranging up to 600 smackers.
