Camp Lejeune/Jacksonville Evos
GM synchromesh.... the best.. i used to use it when i worked for GM felt better than every other fluid... butter smooth
BG is nice but as a fully synthetic it is alot thinner ans while it does shift smooth it doesnt protect the gears as good as say the Mt-90 or the GM...
To each his own... I have used BG, MT-90 and the GM and i by far liked the GM the best. Mt-90 second

I've used synchromesh since my Evo VIII and the first week it is always great shifting, after that it goes to crap again. That's why I am looking for something new. Hopefully the BG II will be better, if not Diaqueen here I come.
Just wanted to start a new thread for the Lejeune/Jacksonville area. Want to see if we could get together so everyone can meet each other. There are quite a few of us here but we never meet or talk to share ideas, thoughts, etc. I met SRTRaceR04 and his brother yesterday, again. The last time I saw them was when I had my 03 Evo. Would like to meet the rest of you that are driving around town. Hopefully we can make this happen soon. Chime in if you are in the area, Ben.

Ben sorry about not getting back with you. The wife has been keeping me busy. I just checked my Super Diaqueen I and if I remember correctly your tranny take 2.8qts? If that's right I wouldn't have enough for you tranny. Sorry bro. I do however have enough diaqueen for your center and rear diffs. If you want or need to change them.
That's cool, my wife has been keeping me busy too. Christmas stuff went up today. Don't worry about the tranny fluid, I'll give the BG II a shot and see how I like it. I also have a hook up at Mitsu (parts manager) and even though they buy in bulk he will let me bring in a gallon jug and let me fill up with whatever fluid I need and only charge me at the employee rate which is 10% above dealer cost. So just let me know when you need some fluids again. We can buy enough for both of our cars.
Hey, what's up guys...i'm back in town after some crazy traveling. The swifts are here, I'll prob be putting them on sometime this rainy week in the garage, but let me know if you all meet up somewhere sometime. I just got in from Charlotte so i'm going to crash....I'll keep my eye on the boards....later.
