Just wanted to say it was nice meeting you guys yesterday.

On a side note my clutch is slipping now(technically it started the day before going to the track). I'm going to try bleeding it and see if that helps it but it's more wishful thinking then any serious hope of it fixing the problem.

There goes the money I was going to spend on building my t-case!

 

Wow that sucks, I hate to hear that. But let me know if you need any help with trying to find the problem. It was nice to meet you also.

 

I would not recommend that. Your rebuild cost will be substantially higher when gears and shafts needs replacement. Just my 2 cents.

 

Good point. I really don't have a choice not to drive it as it is my daily driver. I'll take my chances and hope for the best. I am going to call shep tomorrow though and discus what the issue could be and such. Thanks for the advice.

 

It was good to see everybody at track Sat. and meet a couple of new guys. I was hoping there would be more evos there, but i know several are working on builds. We didn't get the time we were shooting for (9's), but clutch is really holding car back. The clutch is great for DDing but high RPM shifts are damn near impossible. Soo..., I guess that means I'll have to find a replacement. We did shoot some videos. We will at least get the best run vid posted soon.

 

I got some good pictures on Tims camera, I'm just waiting for him to email them to me so i can photoshop the crap out of them.

I probably will in a couple of weeks, after the fp green gets in there. By the time it goes in, the stock evo8 turbo will have 71k miles on it. Keep you updated?

Ok guys to anyone that is interested we are planning to have a dyno/meet the second weekend of may which would be May 15th. It will be at Taylor's Sport-N-Import in Mooresville. Please let me know if this will work for everyone so if we need to push it back some so more people can come out thats fine.
