I would LOVE to make it to this meet (as well as any other meet) but I am always working on Saturdays. Sounds like a lot of fun...I need a new career...

charlotte people, i need some ideas where in downtown we can all roll up together after the meet to take some nice pics. anybody know any good parking deck spots?

 

Theres a Sushi joint right off of South Blvd near downtown, I forgot the name. The parking deck has a decent view of Uptown. I'm not sure if its a nice spot for car pics though. I can't remember too well cuz when I saw the place I was just concerned with the view and did not think if it would have been a good car photo opportunity.

 

There are quite a few good spots in uptown. 7th street station and 4th&church garages may be the best I know of. Also, there is enough construction to have some well composed urban shots. The new Wachovia HQ and the Vue would be solid. Let me know if you need any more ideas.

Today, I changed my plugs, and left that ***** off my car, and then I ran over it.

7th street is free if you're a customer of Reid's or Brixx. The other lot can be free. Most lots here are free if you're in there for less than 30 minutes (or refresh the tickets). I wouldn't do it this Saturday though.
