I may not speak for everyone, but since I started this thread I wanted to speak up.

I personally think all Lancer's are welcome here, as long as you are in or around the greater Charlotte area.

Call Motion Lab Tuning at 704-374-5677 and ask for Todd, he should be able to help you out.

No problem.

Here's more of my 2 cents: if you are a Lancer owner and care primarily about performance, then you are more than welcome in this thread. To me it's impressive when someone tries to squeeze more hp/tq out of a powertrain designed for more for efficiency. Trust me, I've been there.

Now if you're like the Lancer owner I saw on South Blvd with the Pep Boys chrome hubcaps, clear taillights, neon windshield wiper lights, and a wing big enough to seat a family of 5, then you are most certainly NOT welcome in this thread, lol.

I speak for myself, but I'm sure most of the guys in this thread will agree with my sentiment.

Now having said that, we need to do a dinner meet again soon...

i saw a silver evo X on JW clay/wt harris yesterday between nppn and 1pm. it was wingless. but i have been trying to get something set up with a few of the lancers from this forum and another but it is hard when there is only a few and people work different schedules. i want to get something going. i was going to be in this one car club but they want way too much for a joining fee....i am like come on seriously screw that. i just want to hang out and have fun.

but a little about myself and my car.
I used to ride sport bikes but had a bad wreck on easter 2008, hit some gravel going from 74 to 485 across the bridge headed towards pineville in that long left bend and slammed into the cement barrier that is over the highway, so insurance cut me my check and then i sold it and bought the lancer, i got the CVT with my wife and future kids in mind, because i was being deployed in december 2008. i was training till april then left for iraq so my wife had the car. while i was over there i wanted to make it better. i had looked around at buying a evo but too many miles for what i wanted. so i am just going to keep mine now since we are trying to get a new house. i got back in Feburary of this year and started buying parts for the Lancer

the car has some pep to it seeing as it is a CVT. trust me i am not one to think it is the fastest car out there just because i have an intake and exhasut and a few other things. i have raced many cars in my days of sport bikes. but anyways thats just a little about me right now

I have to say it: thank you for your service in Iraq, it's people like you that make it possible for my family to live the American dream.

That is one job I actually use the dealer for. Keffer Mitsu in Huntersville. Since I did all my suspension and chassis work I get a four-wheel alignment about every six months. They have been responsive to setting it to specs that I provide them and have spent the extra time required for my Evo to get it exact. They still charged just the flat rate (I believe it's about $65 for the four-wheel alignment). They have the latest Hunter alignment equipment and have also been able to get ii on the alignment rack without scraping the front lip.

I work by the airport so that wouldn't really qualify as south charlotte. HOWEVER, the link below shows you how to DIY your own for about $6. I made one of these myselves, used a compressor hose quick disconnect male fitting instead of the valve setup. It works just fine. Used a liberal amount of epoxy. Hope that helps. Thanks to mplspilot
