Charlotte Area Evo Owners
Hey all just stopping by to say hey! I'm currently living in Alaska but hope to be moving to catawba county area within a couple months. Hoping to get back to being in a real car community again. There are some nice people up here in AK but also alot of shady characters. Anywho hope to meet some of you soon.

not to jack up your thread, but we over in the eastern NC have like 30+ active evom members. we get together all the time and where thinking of having an "NC" meet. we would love for you guy to meet us half way. We're thinking about June. ill keep you guy posted. I just want to know if you guys are interested. Rockingham Drag sounds Good?

I think Rockingham is a good central point to meet. Us Charlotte guys are waiting on the new drag strip in Concord but it is not going to be finished until September.

I think June sounds like a good idea. Let's continue to get some feedback and decide on a date, the earlier the better so people can mark their calendars.

I noticed that you guys have a well established presence over there, very nice. I was actually thinking about a NC meet at some point too, and it wouldn't be bad to consider some of the owners in the Greensboro/Winston-Salem area either.

Yeah...I think 30+ Evo owners showing up together at a drag strip would definitely kick ***. Great opportunity for an unprecedented huge NC meet.
I probably won't drag race myself, however, I'll be taking plenty of videos to document the Evo invasion.
The ride from Charlotte to Rockingham will also be a lot more fun if we caravan there together.

A huge NC evo meet would be awesome, doubt i'll run my car though.
Drag race just doesnt appeal to me much anymore. Dont get me wrong i like watching it, just lost intrest in going too them to race when i hit my twentys.
