hello, my parents just moved to the Charlotte area from Chicago (I still attend school in Chi) and I was curious about the Evo scene there. My first time in Charlotte was during the week of Thanksgiving and I noticed a lot of random modified cars. Though, my parents live close to the speed way you guys have out there. I figured that I wouldnt see any Evos since nascar is obviously a big deal out there lol. I will be around during Winter break for a month. Not sure if I will bring the Evo, but I am curious to know if there are any out there.

What year is your Evo? Do you have a lot of mods?

 

Liz, There many of us in the area. We have meetings every now and then, just let us know when you get to town and we can have another meet.

 

I'll be in town on the 16th up until January 8th. I wont be bringing the evo though. I've got a leak right now and a few other small issues. I will be living in Charlotte over the summer though, so you'll probably see it around that time. It seems as though in the southern states much of the evos are owned by people in the military...? Maybe I am completely wrong about this?

 

We will def. be setting up meets early spring and all summer, so I will have to send you a invite.

 

kasey, do you know of anyone with a stock intake box filter? i'm looking to go back to stock for this month and thats all im missing. also when will you be able to swap out my cams in january?

 

You may be able to call cosmo motors at 828-324-2444. Ask for Cosmo or Micheal and they should be able to help out.
