Where does everyone buy their e85 around Charlotte? This is the closest place to me in Monroe as far as I know and wanted to see if it was the same place everyone else got it from because I'm thinking about switching over even though its 30 miles from my apartment.

Last time we were in charlotte one of the guys did like a goggle search or something and found like 12-15 stations around charlotte since we were there with a e85 car.

Thanks, since I posted I found a different site that list more e85 stations than I thought were actually around. But still they are all 30 minutes haha

E-85 is all around Charlotte, just too spread out. There's not enough of them though to make it convenient. My favorite place is in Fort Mill off 77 S. at exit 85. They seem to have the best E-85. Some of the other places don't seem to have as much used on a regular basis, therefore I always worry about it sitting in there tanks for too long. I would drive down with my pick up truck with 10 5-gal gas tanks and fill up. I guess you have to decide if the inconvenience is worth it to you or not. For me it was well worth it.

I'm starting to stock up on a couple of gas tanks but I won't be running it year long since my summer home (parents place) the closest place is 70 miles from there.

The Ft. Mill stations are about the same distance as all the Charlotte locations. Which station did you prefer there? I found 2 of them,
1290 Tom Hall St, Fort Mill, SC 29715 and 1010 Carolina Place, Fort Mill, SC 29708

Is it just you running e85 in Charlotte? I would've thought there were others too.

Is Matt the guy with silver wingless with FP Black? I'm not very familiar with everyone's names/cars.

It's the one on Tom Hall. It's exit 85 on Interstate 77. You have to look for the pump. It's not out front, It's on the right hand side of the building.

I just called the one on Tom Hall and the woman said they no longer carried e85. How long ago was the last time you got it from them?

About 3 or 4 months ago. I'll check with Will and see. He lives right near that store.

Ok, Will has there number in his cell. He called today and they said they DO still have the E-85 there. Could be the person you spoke with this morning just didn't understand what you were saying. I got that a lot when I first switched to E-85. I was calling stations to check on availability and they would say "huh". The only other thing I can think of is if I have the street name wrong. I can tell you that it is definitely Exit 85 off of Interstate 77 south, though.

Yeah I'm guessing the woman just does not know, I tried calling the number again and got the same person with the same answer. The number I called was 803-548-2074 but I'll swing by there anyway when I get a chance since either way it's going to be a road trip to pick some up. Thanks for calling Will to find out, I should've made the switch to e85 months ago haha.
