Spotted silver 8 yesterday, I don't think it was modified other than a vortex generator. Near 51/Arboretum

I had my Evo tuned by Stewart Mauney at Shift Fast Motorsports and JrTuned last week...with just a test pipe (cat delete) and 3 port boost controller, combined with an amazing tune, my car now makes 48hp more than before:

Still here and hope everyone is doing great. How's everyone's Evos doing ?
I just found out that my gt30r turbo on my Evo X was licking oil and it caused the bearings to wear out quicker.
I've been trying to figure out what turbo I should get. Either rebuild or new turbo.
What do you guys think ?

How do you like the gt30? I say if you liked the power you were making then a rebuild but if you want more power or want less lag now is a good time to change out the turbo. I have a 9MR with stock hot side and 20g compressor wheel which spools faster then stock and I'm making a little over 400hp now. 😀

That's awesome ! I am actually at the 400 mark as well. The gt30 I have is 0.60 a/r inlet and the outlet it 0.94 a/r. For the wheel I don't know which one I have. But it has double fins ha. I'm thinking of just getting the 6262 PTE T3

Are you using your evo as a DD? With the 6262 your going to have a bit more lag over the gt30. Have you had any engine upgrades done? If you go with the 6262 you will most likely need more aggressive cams to allow the motor to use the increased volume of air the 6262 is pushing.

I'll have to be doing pulls around 5k once I have the 6262 on. As for cams I will be upgraded those. Once I get everything I'm going to take it to Force Fed to get it tune probably.
