Slotted rotors look great on the car and do well, but after a couple uses you will have to toss them away or just have them as paper weights, since you're not able to resurface them. My opinion is go with ceramic pads and OEM rotors. You can wait a bit and see what other people say.

So you would get your rotors from Mitsubishi? and pick up some mid-line ceramic pads from O'reilly?

I run Advance Auto gold pads or something along those lines. Work really well for street duty. Check with STM or MAP for a set of rotors.

I'll get them from O'Reilly and I get BrakeBest Select Ceramic - Brake Pads from them.

Welcome to the forum ! First off how much do you trust yourself to work on your own car?

well I can do minor things like an oil change but I don't have a decent Jack or the proper tools and I my driveway is all gravel.. So I'm not sure if buying proper equipment and tools to save money on service is worth it

I like to service my car myself. Simply because I know what I'm putting into the car and know that I'm actually replacing or changing out any part plus fluid that needs to be changed. I don't really trust anyone messing with #Athena expect me Also if you need to get tools that won't cost you a lot you can always go to Habor Freight and get tools there like a jack and jack stands

Anyone in the Charlotte area want a maxed out Evo IX Turbo? Hotside is extremely ported by Collin @ ToxicFab & Titanium Powder Coated by Justin @ Detective Coating. I also had FP install one of their 84mm Compressor Covers. FP did a full inspection of the turbo while it was there, I have paperwork for it. I have a 4" to 3.25" Intake coupler that will go with the turbo too.

I also have an FP Cast Manifold, ported by Curt Brown & Titanium Powder Coated by Justin @ Detective Coating. I do have the bolt/stud kit to go along with the manifold as well.

Last I have a ToxicFab 02 Dump, also Titanium Powder Coated by Justin @ Detective Coating.

CAN'T forget about a Buschur Racing Downpipe, I had the 2 bolt flange cut off & a v-band flange put in it's place. I also had an 02 bung installed.

Off the top of my head that is all the stock frame stuff I can think of, I'm sure I have more though.

I was being stubborn & holding on to the stock turbo so I can throw it on my new 2.3 setup to run deep 11s. I was always bitter about running a 12.000 on stock turbo with my MR, haha. However, I think it's finally time to part ways!

Not sure on pricing yet but if anyone is interested let me know.
