Yea we will have to meet up some time and talk. Im sure there will be an event in the coming weeks or months. The mod list on my car is pretty long lol... Spec ops? Not to sure about them... never heard anything but HIS a must~
I would talk to Kasey at HIS Motorsports in Hickory. Kasey has tuned most of the Evos in the Charlotte area. He just opened his shop in April but has been tuning Evos for many years. Plus with you being in Denver he'll only be about 30 minutes from you.
had couple people say there name. whats there customer service like? last shop i was @ didnt take care of there customers. it was like they were doing you a favor working on your car;( not very responsible and no sense of urgency getting cars done.
Spec-Ops are definitely the guys to go to for work. Jason, Josh and Matt are all nice guys and are very **** about their work.
As far as finding a shop to work on my car I will not search any further. For a 2 hour drive it is well worth it in my opinion.
They do take care of their customers, they offered to let me borrow their vehicle to run to the gas station or somewhere to eat while installing my cams.

I have been dealing with Kasey (and His Motorsports) for almost 3 years now. He is without a doubt one of the BEST tuners around, and is extremely easy to deal with. Their (His Motorsports) prices are reasonable and they do their best to help you with what ever they can. The turn around time is very quick, clutch jobs take one business day for example. The wealth of knowledge on the 4g63 and the Evo platform there is just unreal, and be assured your car would be in good hands.

Hey everyone, I'm in the charlotte area for the summer. I'm from Ohio and sadly don't have my Evo here with me but was wondering of anyone knew of anything going on around here. I've been trying to find some sort of car cruise ins or a local track to meet people at but haven't had much luck. Anyone have ant suggestions, I'm over by the unversity off tryon.
Car scene is Charlotte is pretty much non-existent to my knowledge. I guess its because the majority of owners are in the 30+ year old range. Not really any tracks here other than zmax 1/4 in Concord and the 1/8 in Mooresville which I don't think any Evo owners go.
I like the E85 soon comment. That's why I didn't bring my car I couldn't find anywhere to get e85 regularly. Given I only had 3 stations in Ohio to get it but there is nothing here.
You can get it about 20-30 minutes from Charlotte. 2 of them are in Rock Hill, SC and the 3rd is in Ft. Mill, SC. I talked to all of them yesterday to get an idea on price which is about $3.30 and $3.39 does that sound about the same as up in Ohio?
