Charlotte Area Evo Owners
When dealing with Keffer, definitely go through Heather - only - to arrange service. The only good tech for Evo's there is now Jamie. He does know his stuff when it comes to Evo's but they are not perfect there. I do periodic services there on my IX MR and they have been mod friendly, within reason. If they can try to sell a problem to their regional warranty manager they will but the problem does need to be basically unrelated - directly - to a mod. I get an AWD alignment there about once-a-year, to the specs I provide, and they are able to do it, but still, only Jamie is capable of even that work. Terry retired from there almost two years ago - he was an old and grizzled Evo guru - they were willing to install my aftermarket clutch and flywheel and backed up the work afterwards. I think you just have to work with them during the job - not just leave your car and expect perfection (I've had some diagnostic vehicle work done by them and Jamie calls me back into the bay to go over everything he's seeing and answer all my crazy questions). Your result may vary but I think they are still rather decent as far as dealers go.

Thanks man, turns out Heather @ Keffer is taking care of me. I cant say enough good things about her, it feels as if she wants to make the customer happy rather than sticking to the corporate rules.
Long story short, transfer case will be in tomorrow morning from Cali, the car should be ready tomorrow afternoon.

Not to steal the thread but since you guys are all somewhat local to me I figured Id ask if anyone knows where a clean, unabused 03-06 Evo is for sale around the Charlotte area and surrounding states for under $20k?

Good luck on that one! Cosmo Motors in Hickory has some nice one's. But your price will be a little more than 20.
I have been thinking of selling the Evo again though...
