Some ideas for meets in the near future:

(1) May 18 - Iron Thunder near Concord Mills Mall. Main organizer is leprechaun1874 who can't make it but has talked to the owners. If you want to do this, speak up by posting a reply. I'm interested in going if we have enough who are interested.

(2) Do It Yourself Install Day - I found a local place where we can meet and work on our cars if anyone is interested. More details to follow.

(3) Paintball - Evoz and I were really into it a few years ago, personally I still own half a dozen paintball guns and can completely outfit 2-3 people with guns/masks/gear. If anyone has interest, I would organize a Saturday or Sunday for us to meet up at a paintball park...we could all be on the same team and hunt others in the woods.

(4) BBQ Meet - A few of us have houses and one weekend afternoon we could grill out and drink beer.

BBQ meet would be good if we could get a park or something like that. Maybe near lake Wylie or Norman. Any ideas people?

It is a Saturday. I'm thinking show up about 7:30sih and hang out until when ever. If there is more than 15-20 people I need to let the manager know. If not we can just show up and have fun. I suggest not parking in the Iron Thunder lot, but across from it in the beauty shop lot. That way everybody can park next to each other and still have room.

I'm down for all of this, and paintball sounds fun!
I'd be happy to host a BBQ at my house, just need some notice.

Thanks for the name breakdown Steve!

I think any of those meet options would be good, BBQ @ a lake would be nice later on this summer! I'm game for anything

Put my car on the dyno yesterday, finally, peaked 394hp / about 28 psi on dyno dynamics Stock turbo

I'm not withholding my torque just don't remember

I really like the idea of a BBQ, but for me to show up we need it to be after the 18th. Its hard to beat good hamburgers and cold beer!

I also am in favor of having our next meet at someone's house (Ian) as it's much better suited for a car meet, byob beer/burgers is better and cheaper anyway. I've been to Ian's house, it's nice and he lives on cul-de-sac so parking will be good.

Also agree we do this after 5/18, which is good for Shannon since he can't make the Iron Thunder thing himself on the 18th.

BYOB is a good idea, I don't mind supplying the burgers if someone else wants to bring chips and such.
If anyone wants to volunteer for cooking duty, you don't have to bring anything.
