Don't worry, we'll work out the logistics, I enjoy grilling so I'll man the bbq, and I was planning on bringing lots of beer, sides, and more beer.

If you guys need a spot to get together and grill out, your more then welcome to have a meet at my shop in charlotte. I can bring a grill to the shop with no problems.

 

Appreciate the offer Tim...as you can see we're already leaning toward having it at Ian's house, if anything changes we'll keep you in mind. I think you should also consider hosting a separate open house at your shop, I would definitely show up.

My 6-speed took a bump lastnight , funny thing is I was going like 10mph. Anyways think I'm going to the dark side and getting a Shepard stage1 5spd, still looking at options. Looking forward to doing the swap, can't say the same for my back

not 100℅ sure but I'm thinking it dropped a gear, Won't know for sure until I pull it off. But I was shifting from 1st to 2nd going I'd say 25% throttle under 15mph & something broke started getting rattling, even getting strong vibrations threw the shifter. Basically when the cars running sounds like something is rattling around in the transmission & its locked in gear won't roll forwards or backwards if I depress the clutch the sound goes away.

I'll let ya know when figure out what happened, BTW this wasn't my original 6spd that failed me at 103k, a good friend gave me his old 6spd which had some synchro issue, so it was on borrowed time.

Might have jacked up the shifting forks, but I don't think that would prevent the car from rolling forward/backwards

Unless maybe the fork broke and wedged between something, lol sorry I'm ranting
