When I had my WRX with no cats, I used to just try and go somewhere in Shelby or some other smaller town and never had a problem as long as no CEL. Also I've passed inspection with no cats at one of the Mitsu dealers. Dunno if it was a fluke or not.

 

So, who's in? Tomorrow night, 7- 7:30, drink some beverages and have some seriously enhanced chicken sammiches.

So it has been decided (by ityn and me) that we need to do a end of summer cruise in. Somewhere big enough to support 12-24 people (hopefully more). Maybe on a Saturday night, that way everybody can attend. I propose September 14, location open to discussion. But I recommend somewhere as centrally located as possible so nobody has a 45-60 minutes drive, unless you are coming from Hickory or something like that.

 

My ex wife got back from overseas so I am now back to my bachelor's schedule...count me in for sure.

 

Also I have a buddy involved in this.

A yard sale will start around 7:00am in the Gastonia Chili's parking lot. Registration for the car show will start at 8:00am and end at 1:00pm. Awards will be at 2:30pm. The Car show will take place in the parking lot behind Chili's (same as last year). All proceeds go to St Jude. Raffle tickets will be for sale for prizes again this year as well. If you would like to volunteer or donate yard sale items please feel free to contact me! Entry fee for car show is $15. The first 50 cars to enter will get a $5 BOG to Chili's (Its like a gift cert.) and a coupon for a free kid's meal! Stuart Ellis will be at the show doing pinstriping and you are welcome to contact him before hand for pricing info or for pictures of his work!

I know it is the same day as Cars & Coffee, but I will not be attending C&C that weekend. If you guys want to come out after C&C that would be great. Any questions you can pm me or post them in here.

I don't think a Slim Jim is going to do a thing for these people. I wont be at C&C this month. I have a buddy putting on a show in Gastonia the same day. (Look at one of my previous posts)

 

I will be working when c&c rolls around again, actually have to work the next two weekends. But would like to do the friday night thing in a couple of weeks.
