Does anyone have a stock catalytic converter I can borrow? I think the heat shield around it is making my rattling noise.

 

Should be able to use a rubber mallet and beat on it. If its loose it will rattle. Can also check other things out. I think the king of pop said it best "just beat it" if it is ur cat can prob. Get it warranty to cover it. Most cover cats for 75k miles. And some even to 125k miles. Not sure the warranty on mitsub. But worth a shot

 

Omar (blackmamba23 on here) has one for sale. I think he's asking $75 for pickup and he'd be willing to meet in Rockingham or somewhere close. PM him and you can work something out.

I think I'm going to have Kasey take a look at it before replacing the cat myself.

I've look for hours underneath the car to find this rattle, and two dealerships and two trips to Motion Lab unfortunately found nothing.

.........uh, yea that was only a delayed response of about 2 weeks. LOL. Yea, I was thinking sometime around the first couple weeks of October. Was just wanting everyone to check their schedules and see what weekend would work best. Then I would know which weekend to do it on to have as many us there as possible. I wanna have more there this time than last. Evos that is. 9 were there last time hopefully we break the 10 mark this time.
