[QUOTE=tribe;5654234]Mustangs, Superflows, etc tend to read very accurately. Dynojets are typically optimistic. I have heard Taylor has "adjusted" his Mustang dyno to read like a Dynojet.

The mustang dyno at Taylor does not add more power then people have been talking about here I'm starting to here all these rumors about there dyno showing big number to make customer happy. The first dyno run i made was 493whp the night before the dyno i raced a twin turbo mustang that made 480 on a mustang dyno and i beat him by a car if Taylor’s dyno was reading 10 - 20% higher or something like that the mustang would walked me easy. For all of you who starting these rumors and don’t have anything else to do need to take a chill pill and get a life.

Im no expert on dynometers but i think what all those guys in MXs post are talking about is the 380 is Bhp "Brake Horse Power" which will allways be higher then actual Whp "Wheel Horse power" and the mustang dyno reads in BHP not WHP like lets say 3SX's dyno.
its not that the cars not getting 380hp in fact it is to the flywheel, But not to the wheels or something like that.
Like i said my understanding on dynos and how they mesures power is not the best.

Well when you have a rwd car vs awd from a roll you need more power to walk the rwd car from a roll plus he is pushing 480 on the mustang dyno. I was saying that if the dyno is off on the power even by 10% i don’t see a 440whp evo beating 480 mustang from a roll when you loose even more power on awd transferring the power to all 4 wheels
I guess we need more dyno sheets from different cars done on the same dyno to prove it. Those guys will never believe a dyno sheet even if it was shown right in front of their face, like it was. Maybe if we had like 5 dyno sheets, from 5 different cars, that would be convincing enough.
I had a shop with a 2WD Mustang dyno. Customers complained all the time about the low reading dyno, even though their cars ran great 1/4 times. I know of several other Mustang dyno owners who adjusted their dyno so they would read closer to a dynojet. I heard this was also the case with Taylors, but who knows until you run a car back to back on two dynos with similar conditions.
