Well, it sounds like I might start my journey around the 28th... let's try to get a soft date set for the first weekend

 

well tomorrow i get my clutch and flywheel install at Subaru. they quoted me for $760. wtf

 

Did they ask you to bend over and did you hear the snap of a rubber glove???
WTF $760 for a ******* clutch install!?

 

i know, ****ing sucks. wouldn't know where to start if i did it myself, you guys recommending me to goto Orlando, or taking it to Subaru. My choices sucks ***. I even asked tigerron, but he said he's never done a X before

 

Just stay away from Big Valley if you go to Orlando..... them pulling and re-installing my tranny resulted in my new motor (at my own dime)

 

how did they f up your motor?

 

Didn't attach the shifter cables correctly.. 5th gear shift was 3rd gear.. over rev boom! <---cliff notes version
