New to the forum! Just got my 2012 ww gsr 2 weeks ago. I am stationed here at NAS JAX. Hoping to mod it very soon. Need help on tuning or I might just go COBB AP.

Hey all. I just moved down here to JAX. I am planning on getting tuned by Freddie. I am just waiting on a few more parts. In the meantime, can anybody point me in the right direction for a good detailer in the area. I am looking to get some paint correction done, ie swirl marks removed. Thanks!

 

^I would like to know this as well... I also need to have the front bumper and hood repainted as well... Rock chips are owning me!

I just ran across this thread and didn't realize how many Evo owners there are in/around Jax. I've had my 12' Evo MR for 3 months and have only seen 1 Evo X and just a few 8s/9s.

To give advice about where to get paint/body work done, I will not go any where other than Stefan at Elite Custom Auto Body off of Southside/Atlantic behind the old Coggin Pontiac dealer. I've had him do work on 2 Supras and his work is amazing.

Freddie/Spec Ops, where is your shop at? I need to get my car tuned with the Cobb AP.

 

No "shop" mainly do tuning work...

 

I wish we had somebody like Detailers Domain around here. I would pay good cash for them to do my car. As far as rock chips go, when I was in South Dakota I got hit my a mini tornado full of pebbles that stood about 12 foot high while going 70 mph. Insurance claim for that was well over 2000 dollars of damage. The roads down here in JAX have way less rocks on them then up North though.

Anybody have a shop to recommend for Tinting and Clear bra installs?

I can't vouch for his work or anything. He is a nice guy though and can usually be found at Cars and Coffee and other meets around town.
