D, I need to find out more about your old Evo's and the mods they had. I'm trying to get to ~330whp with my white car without hosing the mileage. It already has an intake and some other stuff, but I'm trying to get a liiiiiittle bit more out of it.

Shoot me a PM with a mod list if you don't mind.
Evo IXs with the Mivec make the same or more power then some VIIIs with cams...more then likely you Mivec map is stock in your new car...There are some nice gains from tuning the Mivec map, mainly with low end tq and quicker spool...I just put a nice mivec map in my car...Check out this thread...lots of good info in it...

yes mivec can greatly increase spool and powerband. We just got our big 71mm borg warner hitting full boost at 6000 from 6800 (40psi) with some more fuel and mivec adjustments

typically bolt on ixs(tbe, intake, mbc, fuel pump) make around 320 here

Cool. I won't be doing the TBE.

At least for a whiiiiiiile. I need to hear Rodney's car about 100 more times before I'm convinced to even try the Tanabe Medalion. I went from unreal loud to quiet enough to hear the fuel pump, and I'm going to stay that way for the time being.

2008 Blue X GSR (SSS)

Mod list:

AEM intake
ETS 4" core FMIC kit
ETS Downpipe with O2 dump
ETS testpipe
Tomei Expreme Ti catback
Grimmspeed Boost controller

Aeromotive 340LPH pump + Injector Dynamics 1000cc's going in soon as I find the right tuner

Had an accident at the track last summer and going Seibon for replacement body pieces instead of OEM. Ordered those yesterday. Fenders, front doors, sideskirts, and hood.

Nice. I'm interested in seeing your dp and fmic kit Sunday. I'm definitely going with ETS for my I/C and piping, but still undecided about my dp

After talking to and evaluating everyone locally here, I'm happy to say I've decided to give Force-Fed first crack at my car. Headed down there Saturday to get a tune.

Are you guys buying tickets online? meeting early? hanging out afterwards?

I'm not sure I'll be available Sunday, but you never know...
