Raleigh/Durham/Triangle Area Meet
Rodney - Nice pics. Looks like a good/high dollar turnout as usual.
Babi - Sorry man. Trip to the beach trumped trip to Sonic! haha Is that a once a week meet or once a month meet?

lol I'm telling you, that crowd is nowhere near as cool as the evo crowd. I tried for months to get a BMW meet together with no takers. The group around at least sucks as a car group
How's it goin guys! I'm considering leaving the Southern Ca area to pursue a career opportunity in the Greensboro, NC area to be back home closer to family (upstate SC). I was looking for any insight the local Evo community might have on that area of NC that I can't find on generic census reports online. Any opinion on the Greensboro area? Good place to raise a family? Are there things to do? Currently, I work and live in the middle of the freakin Mojave desert and it's a 2 hour drive to get to anything worth doing. How are the local boys in blue? Do you guys get a lot of hassle with your cars? I can't imagine they're the same smog ***** they are here in CA lol. I know in SC there really aren't any smog laws or annual checks (or they're not enforced at least). I was really excited to see that E85 is so readily available in SC and a little disappointed to see that's it's not yet as available in NC. Hopefully it will begin to pick up as it's popularity increases.
Thanks guys and hopefully I'll be hitting you guys up at local meets in the near future!

Sup bud, I lived in Greensboro for many a year. Greensboro is a fun little town, decent place for a family if you stay out of the bad parts of town ( every town has them).
The Cops aren't too bad as long as you don't go around driving like a dick, they are pretty lenient ( and slow
). No E-85 around Gboro yet, but maybe one day. Downtown is pretty fun and plenty of cool places to chill in Greensboro.Evo scene in Greensboro was pretty slim, but it's not a far drive to raleigh / Fayetteville / Charlotte for some pretty fun events.
Welcome to NC.
