I was chasing down a white Evo on Morrisville pkwy this morning in my busted Civic.

I would've love to have gone but I'm still waiting.

Wife's car is going under the knife once I get my car back and my beater is also going to either get fixed or sold as is if its too expensive to fix everything wrong with it.

Carolina Collector Autofest is out at the State Fair Grounds this weekend. They have a car show both days. Sunday is an open show to imports and newer cars. You can show inside Dorton Arena. The cars really show nice inside under the lights!

Note: I will be attending but not competing in the show, they band my car for the next two years due to previous wins.

 

I've got a soccer game Saturday afternoon so that won't work for me. How do you get banned for winning??? haha

 

I've attended the show the show for the last couple of years or so. Last year I won Best in Show for Sunday's event. They retire Best in Show cars for two years.

Sunday is the day for imports if you decide to go. The really do a good job at the event, the judges know their stuff, trophies are pretty nice also. Not, some refrigerator magnet or dash plaque.

 

I'd love to come show if I could get rid of this damn electrical gremlin we can't seem to find.

Leith re-flashed my car when I took it in for service. Do they do this with all cars, or does only the Evo get this "special treatment"?

I'm running the stock ROM, so it's not a big deal...but I would have liked to have been told beforehand and given consent for them to flash the car.

I help organize most of the local meets haha so I'm at most of them. It's the stuff in Fayetteville that I have a hard time making it to.

 

The dealer in Durham updated my car few years back as well…so it could be an older flash that needed to go into ur car eventually.
Either way…its shouldn't be bad …oem’s will update vehicles depending on the field feedback they receive, so chances are they cleaned up something that might have been a concern (tip in/out driveline behavior…etc)
I think if you write them, then they should be able to explain the changes that went into the new flash.

 

I'm just giving you ****. We've only ever crossed paths at Jason's BBQ a couple years ago. I'm as guilty as anyone for missing stuff.
