Raleigh/Durham/Triangle Area Meet
Tom was the one that tuned this car to begin with when I bought it. I love the local guys, but they just aren't that local to me (hour+) and with my schedule and theirs being hella full its tough to get down there. Nothing but good things to say about the two shops that come to mind. Awesome guys that have both helped me alot in one way or another when I was SOL trying to resolve weird electrical issues.
Ya I thought you were on the same page as well but didn’t know you are 4 hrs away now days
Good excuse to take on the drive and make it to Myrtle for a car and driver tuning session.

Sweet! The address for Walmart is 6600 Glenwood Ave. I say we plan to meet at 8 then cruise in together.

x2 what Ali said. With how low on power your car is, there is definitely a mechanical issue. Just because Tom remote tuned it before doesn't mean you will net the same results again. Sounds like a decent amount of time went past from when he tuned it previously, which is plenty of time for a mechanical issue to occur. Tom is good at what he does & sometimes remote tuners are able to pin point issue while tuning. However, there are plenty of times they can't & end up hurting the car even more.
You have already spent $$ on fixing electrical issues, a couple other things & a dyno tune. I understand you are antsy & want to drive the car/enjoy it but throwing $$ at a remote tune doesn't make sense to me. This is the problem with purchasing already modified cars, especially if you aren't very mechanically savvy. I personally feel it should go back to who just tuned it & give them some time to go over the car very well, figure out what the issue is.
But, it's your car & $$ so you will obviously do what you want. Just wanted to throw my .02$ in there...
I'll try & make it. If I do show up, I'll be in the wife's turbo Optima, haha.

Ha, unfortunately not for a while. It is actually still in NJ, flying up the end of the month to trailer it down. Car is rolling chassis at the moment, however, all the parts to put it back together are in my garage here, haha. 2.3 long block, all bolt-ons, fuel system parts, exhaust, etc. Deciding on what turbo to purchase this week.

..... they know what they are doing!
