Just got my RS back from Force Fed doing a little preventative maintenance and a retune :-)

FYI for anyone interested, five of us are going to the Dragon from 4/4 to 4/7. We booked cabins at Fontana Village. Cabins are still available and reasonably priced, especially if you split it with someone!

If you're looking for a shop, I would recommend Force Fed in Fayetteville.

Hey guys, hope everyone had a merry Christmas and happy new year. With the new year, I'm looking to swap out the exhaust on my Evo as I'm getting that dreaded P0420 code for a bad cat. I've gone ahead and purchased a Buschur Racing TBE and an AEM AFR gauge. Unfortunately for me, I don't trust myself doing the gauge install. Anyone have any recommendations more local to Raleigh, I'd really appreciate it. (I understand force-fed is good, but i'm not looking to drive an hour+ for that)

Installing a wideband gauge is pretty simple as long as you got a test pipe or high flow cat with the bung already welded in. Installed the wideband gauge on my old X w/out any problems. I'm confident you could knock that job out, no problem. Or, if you'd like some help I'd be glad to lend a hand.

I'm not really familiar with any of the local import shops. Most of the big ones I know of are Force-Fed down in Fayetteville, Dyno Time out in Hickory, and there's one down in Charlotte but I'm drawing a blank on the name.

I already have the bung welded in so that shouldn't be an issue. I'm just more concerned that the 3 ton jack stands I have only give me a few inches to a foot of clearance under the car and I'm imagining it's gonna be more hassle and time consuming than just bringing it to a place. I'm not against doing it myself, and having a helping hand, just figured it'd be much easier to bring it to a place instead. I appreciate the offer

You really only need to be under the car long enough to screw in the sensor into the HFC/TP. The rest of the job is just running wires and setting up the gauge.

Anybody else familiar with any local shops?

Yeah my garage, haha. @AKillEaze exhaust & wideband install are easy. Install exhaust, mount gauge, run wiring, power & ground and install wideband sensor in exhaust. I would highly suggest disabling the rear 02 sensor via ECUFlash since that is where the wideband sensor will go. But if you don't have a tactrix cable or ECUFlash you won't be able to do that. So with that being said, I suggest taking it to Force-Fed again.
