If you hate being around Evo owners so much, what in the hell are you doing on this site?

You go on and on about this "race car" that you paid so much money for **** poor quality work (yes, I've seen it up close and personal) and have yet to show any impressive results.

You know, if you get so much crap from so many people, did you ever stop and think that everyone else MIGHT not be the problem?

 

For starters, this is not just an EVO site. its EvolutionM. has many different types of cars on this site.

never said i hate evo owners; but i do dislike the ones with a big mouth because they think there hot stuff.

and yes, i know the work is questionable, but **** poor; eh, sure is compared to what i paid for it.. thats why ive warned everyone never to use the person i used, since im not allowed to mention his name without him complaining to admins about it. ive flamed him as much as i care to. car still isnt running right, so many boost and vacuum leaks from warped flanges and broken welds. havent even been to the track but once, and it was with a broken in half intake manifold pullin 9psi on a 13psi spring. lol

 

My evo isn't stock got several thousands of dollars in it

Yeah, I did a roof extension on mine to fit my bulbous ego in the car. I dunno yet, I might. I might also get a wild hair and get off my *** & work on the race car.

4 grand eh? why not spend some of that making the rest of the car reliable?

you're not really helping your cause here and your own trials and tribulations seem to counter what you're trying to claim.

Put another way: if you didn't run your mouth about it, you're not likely to hear about it. Food for thought. Sure, some people will occasionally troll, but the vast majority will generally let you labor on in anonymity, which you've noticed when you're "hanging out with real racers"

And you haven't really backed up your talk yet.. that's your biggest problem. go out, blown down a badass time, and shake the monkey off your back.

so stop making excuses and fix the damn thing. see above. no one likes the guy that rolls up, throws down abject mediocrity, and then comes back with "well this was broken and that was leaking and this wasn't pointed right and my a/c was on and my headers weren't heading, and and and". Everyone with a hobby car has the same worn out excuses, but everyone isn't on here going on about em.

Why is everyone so hung up on a dollar amount invested(wasted) on their car(s)? I could spend 100k on my evo and go slower, or I could spend $50 and go faster. I could care less how much whatever you've got costs, go produce results. Anyone can write a check, if it was that damn easy every ****in' evo on this site would be in the 9's, every bolt on volvo on turbobricks would run 12's, and every honda on honda-tech would be miller fast.

My hats off to Daniel because he went a different route and did something different, BUT...... it seems that you're constantly having problems, major problems, which turns into major $$$.

You've obviously got the funds, so just give in and join the darkside. Get an Evo. Every car I've owned (4 Honda's and an SRT4) besides the one I have now was front wheel drive, and I gotta tell ya, I'll never have one again, at least not to fulfill my performance urges.

thought about it a thousand times. i got the truck to make the car no longer a street car, and so i could tow it. dont need two cars for the street, so no point in getting a evo for driven around town. next kinda car i want to build will be a serious road coarse/time attack style car, might consider using an evo, it will be awd or rwd, leaning towards awd which does leave the evo near the top of the list for a new track car to build, i wanted to use the crx i picked up, but my buddy and i just dont have the free time to start anything till june/july. we had some pretty sick ideas floating around our heads for that crx.

 

dude, i just got it back from walker last week, he doubts the welds he fixxed will help much since more then likely every other weld will more then likely break also. he got a good laugh out of the poor welds were from u know who. lol
now its pulling 12-14vac which is pissen me off, but atleast it idles now. almost right, thats alot better then 0 or -3 lbs per Hg


I dont really care about the time yet, everyone i have called out for talking crap, i have ran and beat if they actually showed. my pops is coming into town for my graduation, hes gunna put my big cam in and try to fix the rest of my leaks so hopefully we can get it tuned properly and to IFO on a decent setup instead of just wastegate pressure.
and for a 120hp 18second car. 13 flats at low boost is a fast time exspecially with that awsome 2-2.2second 60' LOL.

my major problem with getting it running right linux, is that i dont have time.. im at the hospital 150-160 hrs bi-weekly. 2 more weeks and thats nolonger true, woohoo. im on my 3rd 14 hr day today, 2 more shifts and 2 more doubles and im done with all the extra work. my past 2 off days(in the alst 5 weeks), i went to holiday, then the next one, i went to steele.

 

does everybody feel better now? Jesus, holiday frustration galore has now been vented via keyboard commando'isms.

@Daniel: I have seen you at the meet we all went too, and seen you out with the ricers at the street races in Trussville. It's obvious which one you liked more, you looked like Toretto out there in that parking lot with all those young kids swooning around your engine bay. Who doesn't like attention? Not busting your ***** for that but for you to say that the Evo guys are just pompous d-bags after I went way out of my way to help your friends out, thats a little ****ed up.. and considering my car is pretty much stock except for wheels... my feelings are crushed. Ha, jk... but we all had fun and still do anytime we get together, obviously we don't exclude people from our "clique" based on car alone... as we even let Mike hang out, and he's about two white trash stares away from a carton of walmart gas station cigarettes and a mullet wig with that mustang. HAHA haters gonna hate.

I respect what you have done, it's different and cool and from what you have posted... quick. ray attacked me by insulting me directly, very rude and hurtful to call someone out like that, I didnt start the direct insults, he did. ray n miranda have both been complete (insert bad word here) to me ever since that meet, a random nice hello i think once, but insulting and negative about everything i say and do since then. Glad i went out of my way to make sure my 'friends' from huntsville knew about the meet, then they ditch me after it and dont talk to me ever again in a rational or friendly manner.

fwd vs rwd aint the same! (more excuses to come) plus isnt ur motor like a 2.4l? or 2.5 or something weird.. and isnt it a 5 cyclinder motor in it or something weird like that.. is it even the correct motor for the car anymore? im still reppin my crappy single cam.. and i didnt have to import my car from germany to get it here and im on the factory ecu still! (i can keep going lol) my cars all kinds of lame compared to the ******* wagon.. but mine has pretty good ground contact and doesnt like to do barrel rolls at 100mph (just kidding)... i dont care if i lose my an inch of a mile, havin fun and still talkin crap is fun!
