one of my buddies just picked up a black evo8. that apaprently came form montgomery.. white temp coated ramhorn 35r turbo setup with aem ems and sparco racing milano race seats in it.. anyone know whose this use to be or whats actually done to it?? (i was told, some 'tall asian dude' use to own it)


he is wondering whats done to it and whats probably gunan go wrong with it. hes had it for 2 weeks now and still doesnt really know anything about whats done to it.

 

I'm not familiar with that car unfortunately.

 

Any local shops that I can get my manifolds ported?

 

Sounds like one of Linuxman's friends. IIRC, he was in the military. If it's who I think it is he seemed like a pretty stand up guy.

 

Hey guys, feels good to get to post on here again. Our work internet has been blocking this site for a while, not anymore. I sold my 03 Evo, then the next day I bought a silver 06 Evo. I havent had a chance to get any pics of it yet though. Another good thing too is that in an amazing turn of events my best friend ended up with my 03 lol. Its been a crazy week. Anyway my old car/ his new one is in need of an uicp really bad. Anyone on here have an extra one laying around they want to get rid of even if its stock, just looking for something cheap instead of dropping a lot on a new one to get him by for now.

Hey y'all! I'm in a HUGE predicament! I need a tuner to get my car tuned in Mobile to get it over to me here in McCalla. Friend in Mobile that sold me the car finished installing some parts on the Evo, however, we don't have a tune. Modifications on the car are in my signature below. Tuner in Mobile didn't work out and I need my car ASAP. Any way somebody could contact Matt, the guy that tunes Evo's out here, to contact me? Thank you so much in advance!

 

Hmm, not sure on the porting of the manifold. I used to do my own when I had my Rx7, but that has been a looong time ago. best bet is to look around on the FS section they come up pretty often.

and since im posting, here's what u guys missed out at TGPR a few weekends ago.


I recently had an opportunity to volunteer at a Local SCCA time-trial/ PDX weekend at Little Talldega and the track were kind enough to give US volunteers about a 30 minutes session to go out and play. Here's a video of one of my lap that was decent (1:11.xx, and my best was a 1:10.xx self timed via video), not my fastest lap I did, but one that I had a good section without any traffic and lots of fire works. enjoy, and please comments and critiques welcome. C

PS: be nice on the critiques, im not an experience tracker will be attending my very first PDX in Fall.

That would be awesome. All we really need is the rubber part that connects to the throttle body. He has all the hard piping, just not that rubber piece.
