There isn't a lot of racing anymore. I can tell you when and where people go but I'm not doing it publicly. Honestly, I wouldn't consider it worth your drive. I have to drive about 20-25 minutes to get to the "epicenter" and I feel that is still too far.

Congrats on the new Evo purchase though. And if you (and anyone else) haven't already -- join up here: http://www.facebook.com/NAMOonline

We try to get together and even do some unorganized and unofficial stuff if we feel like hanging out. I'd love to have you join us.
Few Cullman guys and I went to Staples in Huntsville saturday night, there were about 50 cars out, I had a race with a c6 z06 and 6.0 procharged gto setup, but my coil wire went bad, started stuttering out, so I'll be out next weekend. Btw, I don't act stupid with my car, and I don't join in with the regulars that shoot tha ****, but ever now and again I do like to do Highway kick pulls for fun, late late nights, theres not much traffic, street racing will always go down like it or not my 2 cents.

Barber's track in Leeds is an awesome track to be on, not cheap tho. normally $400 and up for a day plus other costs. The Talldega Grandprix in Moody is an easier, smaller, cheaper track to start in and u can find track days for as low as $75/day depending on who's and how many people is involved. The Alscca has a time trial event in April and u can get a day of PDX with instructor. u can find more info here at www.alscca.net

Funny u mention ur coil wire going out Sinist3rSRT..I think mine is going out too Im having some random misfire at WOT..only sometimes tho, I can make a pul all day and get nothing, and then sometimes..it misfire really bad. C

HPEVOX/ loofee, thanks for the info. I had no idea that there was another track around. This will probably be the route that I take considering that Barbers cost so much.

Sinist3rSRT you should join on HSVRacing.com. Im sure you could find some people on there to race.
