I just signed up. I'm trying to figure out if I need an Evo. The one Evo at the RallyCross National Championship was pretty awesome. So right now I'm kinda looking for an '05 or '06 that is stock or could easily be returned to stock.

Far as montgomery I sold mine awhile back. Anyways looking to get back into it again. Couldn't stay gone for long! Feb was just around the corner lol. Anyways I'm actually moving up to birmingham because I work here now during the week so looking to find some meets/things to do. So much different from Montgomery.

I'll be moving back to Huntsville/Madison in November. My Evo will be coming down in December. For those who autox, Sarah knows who I am. Brett Hudson and I used to autox the STU STi back in 2005-07.

Hey guys, I need my 60k service done, and have never done a timing belt before (and I don't have time to learn). I bought my evo at carmax, and it had several mods already done when I bought it. I bought an extended warranty, and they've already done work to the car that was covered by it, so I know they don't care about the mods.

I'm reluctant to have them do a timing belt on my evo since I'm not sure they really know what they're doing. Should I bring it to a mitsu dealer in the birmingham area instead?

Yes. Hopefully the Mitsu dealer knows what they're doing. You definitely don't want to screw up timing on an Evo, or any car really. Could be catastrophic. Last thing you want is for it to jump a tooth or have your timing off.

Was out driving Barber motorsports (awesome track) with an Evo IX owner two weeks ago, and just met a guy in Madison on County Line this afternoon in a X. It's pretty rare in the HSV Madison area. I'm also a bit concerned about my upcoming 60K service. Please inform us about your service expirience. Thx

Great thanks. It will be nice to get in touch with the local Mitsu community. Looking forward to your next meet.

HPEVOX, how do you like those Whiteline endlinks? Are they noisy or clunky at all?

They clunked a lot at first. I had to get back under there and put a little more muscle into it and they quit. I haven't had any clunking since.
