Get to press in some ball joints tomorrow I just feel like this isn't going to be my easiest job so far lol but I gotta keep C and Sara on their toes. Now I got Vince to deal with... Ya'll are killing me lol. So we have C, Sara, Matt, Vince and myself in evos in SM this year...I like it!! 2 weeks boys!!!!

On a lighter note the shifter bushings under the hood and the gate selector bushing wasn't bad at all

 

Quick question... going FP green, 1000cc injectors... and stage one cams... Who in or around the huntsville area can install and tune this for me? I have the AEM center mount gauges but the previous owner stated they will not work without the AEM EMS. Is there another way to make these work or will I have to buy new gauges for this build?

 

Installing the green and the injectors would be simple. Cams are a bit more complicated but doable. You can hit me up if you want to meet up and look over it. I have a couple mechanic guys that could be up for the job, but they'd probably want some kind of compensation (although still cheaper than taking it to a shop). One of the guys name is Victor and he owns a blue Evo 7 (yea a seven).

If you're just looking for a shop in Huntsville in general that you can trust with imports, I'd hit up Van Cleef Racing.

 

Yeah, i figure i can do everything but the cams, I have a 30x60 shop to work in at my house. That is fine I would be ok with paying someone to do it lol... absoultely as long as it is done right. I just wanna make sure its tuned right, that was my only concern because I have heard horror stories about some of the tuners around here.

 

30x60 shop....hmm you and I need to become good friends then haha

As far as the tunes go, I agree I don't trust any tuners around here. I use Aaron from English Racing. He can send you a e-tune to cover any mods you have and we could run some data-logs to get it dialed in. I may try to get him to fly down here towards the end of the year or early next year if we can get enough people needing a tune.

 

Sounds good to me, I will be ordering all my goodies soon, I want to have them on before the next street car showdown at Baileyton on March 16th. I got a shop and building my tool selection nicely
