i am booking a cabin that is on the cherohala skyway, place is AWESOME and a very good deal. The place has Wireless internet, a 30'x50' garage complete with air compressors, pool table, ping pong, fooseball, tv and fridge in the garage, full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bath, 7 twin beds, the place is loaded. i am staying a full week up there.
*UPDATE* Cabin is booked for Feb.27th thru March 5

i guess we will try to make it up there some time that weekend. probably come up on friday night and leave saturday evening. we usually stay in Fontanna village but i would like to see this place, sounds pretty awesome.

ps dont forget to bring your walkie takies! there is no cell service up there so those are the best way to keep in touch during the runs.

 

Yea goin early, its not going to be nearly as cold as it is in afghanistan right now, its like 16F at most during the nights, so yea 30's and 40's are gonne be heaven compared to here. And the walkies are a definite. And the house is amazing. Gonna be a blast. Hope to see as many people up there as possible. If interested PM me and i will send the map to you via email.

yeah i know that feeling too. i just got back from my third deployment in November. well you have my vote as soon as i make it back to NC later this year. so if not this spring, you'll have someone to go with you this fall.

 

Sweet dude. i really look forward to it. i have been wanting to do a trip like this for a long time and now have the means to do so, and well have a connection to a house with a 50x30 garage with the works. so yea its gonna be a blast
