Pictures of Birmingham AutoX 03-29-09
Hey everyone I'm finally getting around to posting these pictures I took at the last AutoX in Birmingham on 03-29-09. I didn't get there until after 1:00pm so I didn't get the morning sessions. these turned out very nice and there are some close action shots, which you might enjoy, and even maybe learn something about your technique, apex's, turn-in, etc. I know I was able to get a better feel for judging turn-in by exploring the sequence of some of the shots.
I will warn you there are 21 total pages of pictures in Gallery format. However; the thumbnail pages are easy to navigate and you can quickly browse through to your car's shots. All in all there are more than 1200 pictures shot with a canon 40D and I varied between my 70-200L and 300L lenses. If anyone wants some high res files just let me know. I'll give these out uppon request. They are huge files so you will need a way to download between 3-4 megs on each picture. So you might have a problem thru your email account.

I can't my butt outta bed on a Sunday morning to get out there in time for the morning runs. it was a blast, conditions were chilly though with tons of wind. A slow course and layout meant not much 3 wheeled action unfortunately. Most everyone said they didn't get out of 1st gear.

That's Lee he lives in Gadsden I believe. I didn't run my Evo but there is an Evo regular that runs the local AutoX with our O2 Dump fitted.
There were def some cone-killas out there...you can see who is very good with their spacing and lines.
