Greetings from (further) South! I just wanted to check in and invite some of you guys down or at least to get involved and come down to Huntsville, AL from time to time. We have a pretty big car scene (unexpectedly large and fairly organized) and there's always something to do.

Anyone on here or know of a white RS with what looks like an open dump tube and JDM tail lights? The front bumper was an aftermarket, so I don't know if it's a VIII or IX.

 

Sounds awful lot like me^ but my front bumper is stock with a lip. I did see a silver evo on the way home from nashville one night a couple months ago as well. Are u sure it was an aftermarket bumper?

 

Yeah, it was not stock. I don't know which bumper it was, but it had the little "scoop" for the intake in the grill area. I saw this car on my way to work on I-24, heading east and we both got off at the Smyrna exit. The tail lights were not VII lights, they were the style with the blinker in orange. I didn't get that good of a look at them to tell if they were MR lights or not.

 

Ya'll just need to come to Knoxville, me and one other guy I've known for a while are on this site. There is probably 7-8 other Evo's here, only one (that I've never seen in person) is also on here, the rest probably don't even know this site exists!

Just remembered going to smyrna for a charity run, the morning of Friday the 9th for the Tennessee nat guard, I believe I remember seeing your silver ride as I was on my way.
The front bumper is a c west knock-off from AIT Racing, I really don't like the body kit at all, and yes, there's a 3 inch dump under there, which is why I still run temp tags on it (MARTA)

 

Sounds about right. I figured you had a dump tube since I could hear the turbo spool and the soot coming from under the car.

 

Yep, that's mine. Got it not too long ago, getting ready to do major work on the fuel system to get it running right.

 

Are there any meets in mid Tenn?

 

The only thing I know of is the cars and coffee in cool springs on Saturday mornings.

Anybody locally that has blacked out headlights or know someone that has? If so, I'd love to pay for mine to be done, I'm a bit timid about doing it myself, baking 1500 dollar headlights has me un-nerved.
