I'm kind of an Eastern TN guy but it's not uncommon to see me in/around Knoxville (I belong to a car club there, and/or en route to Deals Gap). A buddy of mine in a Z club said he was surprised that Evos don't have their own prestigious club. It's rare enough just to see another Evolution around here. Florida is overflowing with them. Spotting an Evolution there is no different than seeing a Ford Fusion. They're everywhere there but around here, we're kind of rare.

I'm always up for a cruise. Get into the car and drive. Enjoy the sun and company of others. A BBQ. Hangout. Deals Gap. Anything.

Jim, did you make it out to Wynn's? I stayed home, have an issue with my MBC, was only letting me run 13 psi (wastegate spring) boost. Threw stocker BCS back on today and spiking at 19 now. Gotta see is buschur will make it right now.

 

Yeah, light crowd, a few nice rides, a few not so . But had a good time and met some folks. Probably be a bonkers crowd there this Sat night, pre Import Alliance.

 

There an interesting group of people that is meeting at the Dragon for a few days. My Fiance and I are going to be there.

im interested in going to some meets, etc in the nashville area (tethered by work&school). Track.One is going to be having a meet of sorts at their shop sometime soon, i will post again when i find out.

anybody here a Track.One fan or on TennSpeed?

26 March 2011, a car club ( www.SportsCarFrenzy.com ) based out of Knoxville, TN is doing a cruise to Atlanta, GA (via mostly back roads for some spirited driving) for a few events going on in Atlanta. On Saturday is the Porsche PCA club race. On Sunday is the Import Face-off.

29 April - 01 May 2011. Here, a group of people are getting together to run the Tail of the Dragon and perhaps even go to the Casino. For me, I'm not much of a gambler but I do intend to enjoy the company of other car fanatics! I'll be there April 30 on Saturday morning to meet up with them.

I've heard for them. They had a pretty strong turn out at IA last year. I'd be down for the meet when you get the details. I think they are going to have another Evo meet at the Dragon the weekend of April 29th. I might head out there with a few friends.

There are a few meets / greets happening in the near future, but nothing VERY close. Guess it all depends on where you live. I will be going to each of these.

29 April - 01 May: event. Topic here on EvoM. A Evo meet at Tail of the Dragon. I am going on 30 April. I went 2 years ago, and had a BLAST !!! Some of the guys are doing the Dragon and the Casino. I may not do the Casino, but would probably do a cruise on the Blue Ridge Parkway or Mt. Mitchell (highest point on East of Mississippi river).

Seen a few Evo's around the Brentwood/Franklin area recently- a TB (or maybe it was GG, it was dark out) X going down concord road and a TB IX on Franklin road. I drive a RR VIII. I met a guy with a IX WW over the summer, but other then that I very rarely see anyone else around the Brentwood/Franklin area. Anyone else on here from the area?
