Anibal from PR changed his old red to the new 80mm last week and made more power at lower boost, maintaining more on the higher rpms.

That is what he told me. Broke the new red record too.

Another thing that I noticed is, that before I sended my red to get the new cover and turbine wheel done, I had ported the hot side turbine outlet a bit.

After the porting I did, I assembled the 2 sides, and then looked at the wheel clearance againts the housing to make sure it was nice and good.

When I got the turbo back from them, they had machined the back turbine housing outlet some more than I did by about 2 mm, and the wheel still maintains same clearance againts the housing!

Why would they machine the back again if I had a red turbine wheel there allready.

Good question . That is what I noticed, who knows, I am old .

The proof is in the dynosheets.

Some independent "non-FP employee" testing would definitely be a plus. Will be interesting to see as more locals get the new cover.
