I believe that the 2004 neon srt4 would actually beat a bone stock evo 8. What do u guys think?

the 04 is supposeddly toteing 10-15 more horsepower but it wont be enough

 

I bet the SRT4 would beat the Evo from 60mph and faster. I don't want to admit it but it puts down 230WHP and is 300lbs lighter. I don't see how it couldn't be faster from 60 on

 

It's not gonna actually have "More horsepower".. It's just gonna be rated as having what it already does... They were modest hen they stated the original horsepower, as we all know it has more than the factory rating. The only thing they are gonna change in the car mechanically is possibly adding a limited slip diff..

I don't have a 2004, but I do have a 2003. And there is no way that it would be able to win. I have raced one EVO and I kept up but I didn't see me passing anytime soon. That extra 10hp wouldn't do much.

not to disrespect the srt4 but bonestock it wont be able to beat an evo.i raced a couple when i was still stock , i couldnt leave em behind they stayed but they weren't able to pass me.
but for 20K? good deal...

 

I raced one back when my EVO was still stock.. He had some mods like boost, he said exhaust, and something else.. While he was sitting there roasting his peg leg, I was able to just drive off and dust him... Guess he needed the Greddy Profec-b remote to control his traction......
