Sounds good I would hold off on the test pipe and just do intake hardpipe and catback until I save up for a tune.

Well depending on the intake you go with, you will probably need a tune anyways man. It will suck having parts sitting around and not being able to do them but your car will not be running optimally without the tune. I wouldn't say its dangerous with just those, but I wouldn't want to take the chance. But then again I am a paranoid *****.

Where the hell has Melissa been? She disappeared after we all met at the autocross.

Well tomorrow I go on leave, when I get back I should be able to bring my EVO out to play more. If the weather is good we all should have our own little EVO meet and BBQ.

You should be fine with putting the catback on... id store the intake as well until you can get tuned.

Well its the MAF sensor/housing that's your problem. Some people run the ETS intake with the stock MAF housing hoo-yah but some people still have problems.

And definitely with the cookout meet when everyone gets back.

Edit: Saw a PB X MR at a haircut place past the Driftwood yesterday around 3:30. Gave him a rev and tried to throw a wave out the window but traffic was pretty bad. Was it anyone on here?

I'm here, I just don't have much to contribute. I'm just hanging around trying to learn as much as I can about the evo & what kind of upgrades I want to do.

Simple.... ETS or AMS - boom, done. I been going down to Wilmo often still, need to grab a coffee with you and the hubby sometime. If there are any other X owners down that way, them too.

Good stuff man. Did you drive the X all the way to Tejas? Or fly?

Well if you happen to have an extra CMC laying around, I may be interested.
