I think I'm done with auto x until I get back from this deployment. I've got too much stuff going on between now and then to repair any damages that may occur. I still have that Injen UICP w/ hardware for sale if anyone is interested. I'd let it go for $75.

 

Come down to hangout and we can give Joe some moral support. Ill hang out for a while but will probably be staying in Wilmo. Going to try and snag a ride along so I can vomit in somebody's car.

 

I would, but my weekend is stacked with family events. I have to leave for 29 palms in January so I don't think I'll be at another one until I get back from Afghan. Also, in addition to the Injen UICP I have a bunch of stock parts if anyone is interested.

 

Right on man. Can't say I am looking for anymore parts man. Only thing on my plate now is a gauge pod and maybe an oil pressure gauge.

 

Jonny, another guy from my unit, and myself will be leaving around 10-ish to head down there.

Ok dudes, who is up for a meet this weekend? Friday or Sunday works best for me but that may change. Weather is decent so maybe we could do a cookout somewhere. If no one wants to offer their house/grill, we can do a park. There is one down on 17 that looks promising. Weather is 10% chance of rain Fri and Sat, with partly cloudy and around 60 degrees. Sunday is listed as few showers with 30% chance of rain.

Or hell we could even do it a cookout on base if it comes down to it.

 

So I'm getting the ETS cat back exhaust and intake next week. I'm going to get a tune probably the next day after everything is installed and I will probably go to national speed to get it done. Did any of you guys get the Cobb ap/ tactrix open source setup or just let them tune with what they have? This is my first car that is getting a protune so I'm just curious to see what you guys have done.

The auto x event last weekend was pretty cool! I def want to do one!

 

They do an open source tune with a tactrix cable. I had mine done there and haven't had any issues.

In regards to the weekend cookout, I'd be down, but I fly in to Puerto Rico that day to start my Caribbean cruise. Be jealous.
