I lost another gasket between the manifold and turbo. Crap is getting old. Was going to clean my engine bay and noticed a whole chunk of it was blown off.

One bolt fell out completely and another is loose enough to turn with my fingers. So obviously my plan of new bolts with lock washers wasn't the right idea.

Will locktite work in this situation??

Hasn't it only been a few weeks on that one? Ive never seen one do this more than once. I would try loctite this time, it cant hurt anything.

you could also try a longer bolt with a nut on the bottom or put in 4 studs and drop some nuts on there with some loctite.

Dan
Take the manifold and turbo off and have the faces of them machined and trued, then put bolts with lock washers and loctite back on.

Finally got some time to work on the 3000GT again, hoping to have it running and sold soon. Than I'll get a beater/daily driver and it will be on to some secret squirrel stuff for the X. Justin I'll be talking to you about that once the time comes.

PS - GO COWBOYS

Don't know. Haven't been to the track since I roasted the stocker clutch w/ just my pump gas tune. My 2nd pass (last before the stock clutch let out) was an 11.9 at 103mph. I ran out of 4th and was coasting across the line...hence only 103 mph.
