Anyone know a good place to get a new race pipe made that's not going to be ridiculously priced??

Also something that concerns me. Trying to get the pipe to line back up is harder than I would think. Because there is no hanger in the middle area to hold the exhaust it seems to put an unnecessary strain on these welded flange areas (which would explain why they cracked the way that they did). No matter how tight I tried to bolts these parts in the very bottom of the flange was exposed causing a huge exhaust leak through the gasket. Not sure how to remedy that one.

SRT, just grad one from Ultimate Racing. Their 3" test pipe is only $75 per their website. You are still stock flanged on both ends right? That's what theirs is. It has a mechanical o2 fix too, so no non-foulers or sim's necessary.

Word, thanks Bob I'll check it out. I'm going to be getting the pipe rewelded tomorrow just to work in the mean time.

I may also just take Ben's advice and get a better fitting exhaust. I really liked my Buschur TBE that I had on my first Evo, so I might go that route again. Sounded way better than the ricer sound I'm greeted with now!

Turns out the race pipe is titanium. Couldn't be rewelded!

What's the name and how much did they run you? I was just at Myrtle yesterday too. Will have to wait until I get back from deployment but I definitely want it done.
